ハウジング超大型物件がクライマックス‼
香港では超大型物件と呼ばれるプロジェクトがあります。その中で政府が発注するハウジング・オーソリティー（住宅都市整備公団のようなものです）の物件は、数年がかりで数十万㎡の建物を建てていくもので、しかも基本は内外装とも全て塗料が使用されます。
関西ペイント社では2014年からアンダーソン・ロードという場所にあるこの超大型物件を手掛けていますが、いよいよ完工間近になりました。この物件は総計で75万㎡あり、数万缶の物件が出荷されました。
また香港の建築に携わるものであればハウジングの材料の品質管理も含めた規定が非常に厳しいことを知っているので、そこで使用される材料が高品質のものだと自ずと理解してくれます。実際、他メーカーでは抜き打ち試験で何度も不合格を出し、大きな問題になることがある中、関西ペイントの材料はこれらの抜き打ち試験も一回で合格し、役人からの絶大な信頼も得ております。
その証拠にこのアンダーソン・ロードの後に別のハウジング物件が決定し、そちらも現在施工が進行中です。
関西ペイントが使用された建物で、香港の人々の楽しい家族生活が営まれると想像すると、メーカー冥利に尽きるというものです。
Hong Kong will occasionally have construction projects of prodigious size, and projects from Housing Authority (HA) are one such. Numerous volume of materials would be used for these residential development.
Kansai Paint has been supplying both external and internal paint, approximately 750,000 sqm of application area, for a soon to be completed rehabilitation project of a long abandoned quarry – The Anderson Estates. It is an exciting and much anticipated transformation of this quarry into a large community for housing, associated government institution, open spaces, and many more public facilities interlinking other nearby HA estates in Sau Mau Ping.
Having quality management and environmental monitoring as their fundamental principles, HA makes no compromises and accepts nothing less than the strict criteria they set. That said, any selected brand which complies with HA standards would mean to have achieved true product excellence. Extract testing will be conducted on site unforewarned, and many suppliers would not pass the tests. When this does occur, it will be disastrous. For the record, Kansai Paint has not failed these tests, which further convinces the government officers of our product quality.
It is our great honour to be involved in these HA projects, since only nominated suppliers are eligible to join as a result of our promising performance. While Anderson Estates is still at its finishing phase, HA has already granted us another project that immediately follows.
