また黄金海岸（Gold Coast）と言う高級住宅でも、それまで長らく使用されていた塗料供給会社を押しのけて、関西ペイントの高品質塗料が使用されています。

建物は資産であり、その価値を高め長く維持できるのであれば、多少高くても品質の良い材料を選定するというのは、実務的なデベロッパーの自然な選択であるのでしょう。

In Japanese, there is a word “Zaibatsu” which refers to industrial and financial business conglomerates where they cooperate for any commercial activities to obtain maximized business gains and results. The situation in Hong Kong is much alike, for we have wealthy commercial cliques who have been active in the market. While some of the cliques are local, many of them actually came onto the market from overseas, including ones from the mainland. Each corporate size ranges, and Kansai Paint has managed to keep her connection warm with many of these commercial cliques.

For instance, Sino Land Co. Ltd. is one of the largest enterprises not only in Hong Kong but in Asia, and they are engaged in a lot of business activities all over the world. We have been in collaboration with Sino for 5 years now.

Since Sino is a multifaceted property developer, they handle a wide variety of projects which includes but not limited to new-build constructions, renovation, property management, commercial facilities, luxury high-rise residential buildings and cottage houses and more. Their demand for coatings differs, often depending on architectural design intent and substrate requirements, for concrete, granite, panel, cladding on wall, ceiling, and floor, in the exterior or interior. Therefore, we have to provide all sorts of material, from conventional paint to high grade coating systems such as polyurethane (PU), silicone, fluorine, thermal insulation coating, floor paint, multi-coloured, faux textured, and so forth.

The Avenue on Lee Tung Street, Wanchai, is one typical example where multiple Kansai Paint coating systems have been employed to achieve optimal design aesthetics, interjecting contrasting elements which still work in harmony when put together. Some of our products used for this project include Aqua Zolacoat EX, Ales Cool Si, and Decora Pallet H. This busy street, with our products painted over, is now the newest landmark in Hong Kong Island.
