The Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link is another major super project undertaken by COSCO Kansai in Guangdong, after the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge. This cross-sea passage connecting Shenzhen, Zhongshan, and Guangzhou, spanning about 24 kilometers, is a world-class "bridge, island, tunnel, underwater interchange" cluster project. The tunnel section is about 6.8 kilometers long, and the average weight of the individual immersed tunnel steel shells is about 10,000 tons, equivalent to a section of a 50,000-ton crude oil tanker. Whether it is steel structure fabrication, anti-corrosion coatings, or component launching and transportation, it undoubtedly represents the world-class highest level of such projects.

As a leader in the anti-corrosion coating industry, COSCO Kansai has gained widespread application and a good reputation in the field of anti-corrosion coatings over the years, thanks to its superior corrosion resistance and weathering resistance products. In the field of large-scale steel structure bridges in China, COSCO Kansai 's performance has been particularly outstanding, having provided corrosion protection for major cross-river and cross-sea bridges such as the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, the Humen Second Bridge, and the Xiamen-Zhangzhou Subsea Tunnel.

This time, COSCO Kansai is once again honored to become the anti-corrosion coating supplier for the steel shell of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Tunnel immersed tube. This is not only another great project that COSCO Kansai has participated in after the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, but it also further consolidates its leading position in the field of bridge anti-corrosion. In the future, COSCO Kansai will continue to invest more effort around the national development construction, making greater contributions to this important strategic initiative.
